This Man Took A Selfie Every Day For 8 Years And The Time-Lapse Is Surprisingly Powerful

For a teenager going through adolescence, the journey into adulthood can seem like it takes forever.

Not only is your body going through intense hormonal and physical changes, you're constantly trying to figure out who you are as an individual. What is your place in the world outside the confines of your parents' home that you so desperately want to leave?

All of the different hairstyles you try (which includes that first attempt at a beard), the different groups of friends who cycle through, and the types of music you listen to — they're all part of this constant drive to define you.

A man from Montreal, Hugo Cornellier, decided he wanted to see this process sped up, and to do that, he took a selfie every day for eight years. He kept his facial expression the same for the thousands of selfies so that everything else — his hair, the room he lived in, and the people surrounding him — would be captured.

Take a look at his incredible transformation from adolescent to adult in the video below!
