A Mom Was Followed By A Stranger In Costco Who Handed Her A Mysterious Envelope…

Incredible moments can happen when we least expect them.

For a mom completing everyday errands with her children, that unsuspected moment was just what she needed.

It all began when a mother noticed a stranger was following her during a grocery trip at Costco. The mother was shopping with her two young children and hadn’t realized she was being followed.

What at first was a confusing situation ended up becoming a beautiful moment, and the mother recently shared her remarkable story that will leave you feeling inspired…

“I was walking through Costco this morning doing some regular shopping with my two daughters,” the mother began.

It was a regular day for the mom of two, who explained that it was a normal shopping trip where the trio was joking and having fun.

“As we were walking through the store…we were joking about how quickly we can shovel the snow if it snowed a lot this week. We talked about what I was going to make for dinner today and joked about how we pick the person who is going to have to do dishes. We played some ‘I spy’ as we walked through the [aisles]…just random conversations as we typically do to make it fun while we shop.”

However, while shopping with her daughters, this mother never realized she was being followed…

“After we paid for our stuff and made our way towards the exit this man who was standing there with his daughter stopped me and his daughter handed me an envelope.”

The mom hadn’t previously noticed the man and his daughter and was unsure of what the envelope contained.

She asked the daughter what it was for, and the girl said that it was a gift they were hoping the mother would accept. “There is a note inside explaining why,” the girl said before asking the mother for a hug.

“I said yes, so she did, and I felt such a warm hug,” the mother explained. “We said bye and went on our way. When I got into the car with my girls I opened this card up. It said…”

“Just listening to you talk to your daughters reminded me of my mother who I lost 2 years ago.”

“I made my dad follow you around for a little so I can hear you guys talk because I wanted to pretend that it was my mom talking to me.”

The mom said, "You just assured me that I am a great mother even though sometimes every parent questions themselves."

She explained that the heartwarming story left her in tears, and she had to share the special unexpected moment.

Sometimes we can all use affirmation that we are doing a good job, and for this mom, that was exactly what she needed. This beautiful moment allowed a daughter to reminisce about her mother who had passed away while also reminding a mother of two to cherish every special moment of motherhood.
