Now, are you ready to see all the ways you can accomplish the #BestAprilFoolsDayEver goal? Here you go:

1. Get them good with grilled dessert for lunch.

Oh I'm sorry, did you think this was a grilled cheese sandwich? Don't worry, your children will be thrilled when they bite into theirs. Learn how to fool your children with this totally-not-a-grilled-cheese butter cream-filled pound cake.

2. If your children won't be home during lunch on April Fools' Day, you can send them off with this April Fools' "moldy" sandwich bag.

Imagine the look on their faces!

3. DIY ketchup and mustard pranks.

Psst...a string comes out instead of condiments. Your children will be delightfully shocked. Learn how to make your own here.

4. Switch the bags inside two boxes of cereal.

Captain Crunch? How about some Shredded Wheats! Ha-ha!

5. When your children are sleeping, switch them into each other's bed.

Waking up in your sibling's bed = a great start to an April Fools' Day not soon forgotten.

Just remember to tell them about the joke before too long to avoid major disappointment. Ha-ha!

14. Put a few gummy worms in their apples.

Hidden treats are the best!

15. Give your children some Brown-"e"s.

To prevent tantrums, we recommend having a few real brownies on hand for once the prank is over.

16. Serve these fake spaghetti and meatballs as a newly instituted "second dinner."

Your kids will think you've really lost it--until they taste how sweet "second dinner" is!

17. Stuff some tissue into the toes of your children's shoes. Then, tell them they must have grown into a giant over night.

They'll be so surprised when they find out what really happened!

18. Get some attention on the ride to school.

Your children won't have any idea what's going on!

19. Slice bananas without peeling them. Hand them to your children.

Be sure to watch their faces as they try to peel the bananas!

23. Put up a "For Sale" sign for the day.

Be prepared for A LOT of questions! You can let this go on for the whole day, or tell them right when they ask what's up--your choice.
